2. Object of the Society

	The purpose of EWIV is the cooperation of its members in the promotion of sports projects particularly for schoolchildren and juveniles in sports clubs and in support of sport for the disabled. The sport projects take the form of organized sponsoring campaigns. The sponsoring campaigns shall be executed free of charge for the sponsored institutions.
	This includes an exchange of information with schools and sports clubs and sports organizations for disabled people about clarifying the current requirements concerning pieces of sports equipment, as well as intensive contact with sports shops and sports equipment companies.
	Furthermore, EWIV operates an online sports shop under the name of ‚sportingbay’. The returns remaining after the deduction of costs are put at the disposal of sports projects or sports clubs / sports projects deserving support. This is done in form of cash value or material assets. The use of these financial means are supervised by EWIV’s senate.
	The senate has a representative function in relation to third parties and all private and state institutions.
	EWIV has the right to open branches inside the European Union and outside of the European Union.
	EWIV may execute actions of any kind which serve the purpose of the Society directly or indirectly.
	EWIV shall, as a legal personality, act according to the purposes that are connected with the above- mentioned activities.
	EWIV shall not gain profits for itself.

3. Duration

The duration of EWIV is unlimited.

4. Organs

The organs of the GFS EWIV are the general meeting of members, the senate and the management. The organization of competencies and specific tasks is reserved for a separate decision of the organs on procedural rules.

5. Activities in and with EU-third countries

The GFS EWIV may accept associated members, who may have their seat in third countries. These associated members do not possess a right to vote in the general meeting. In the case of an acceptance of associated members, the general meeting decides on a possible participation of an associate member unanimously.

6. Severability Provision

If any provison or provisions of these Articles of Association shall be held to be invalid, illegal, unenfoceable or in conflict with the law of any jurisdiction, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby. In such a case, a provision is applicable which meets best the legal and economic aim of the inoperative provision or provisions.
