GFS Europe EWIV - supporting sports across Europe

Public funds are tight, state institutions cannot fulfil all the wishes. We have to take the initiative.

The Society for the Promotion of Sport Europe (EWIV) is working for the promotion of popular sport throughout Europe. Especially, we emphasize the importance of securing and developing the sporting activities of our children and young people. For this reason, fair teamwork of all participants of our society (EWIV) is of particular importance. We address sports clubs, schools and daycare facilities for children to secure the framework for sporting activities. Unlike charitable organizations, our initiatives are directed at the concept of a sponsorship. Hence, we hope that our concept becomes popular in the business world, true to the motto ‘give and take’.

A support by sponsors can pave the way for a health-orientated development of our children and young persons. Almost 60 % of all the juveniles get encouraged to do sports by way of school sport activities and organized sport alone.

Negotiating with the participants of our projects and supporting the project members are two jobs that we do in a quality-oriented way. Also, we could gather a broad experience having successfully accomplished 10,020 projects helping to stimulate and secure the sporting activities of schools, clubs and daycare facilities for children. Since our campaigns have attracted an enormous, positive response, we see that our work really is necessary.

In this new year, 2008, we are very pleased about having the opportunity to improve and develop the supplies for sporting activities in our schools, sports clubs and nursery schools steadily.
